Sand Channel drainage sets a new standard for sub-surface drainage systems. Uniquely adapted to sports fields and golf courses, Sand Channel drainage uses a network of interconnected channels to collect surface water and carry it away. The key to the system's effectiveness is the "intensity" of the network - the closeness of the channels that make up the network grid. Typical spacing between sand channels  is just sixteen inches (16"). This means that surface water is never more than eight inches (8") from a drainage channel!

Sometimes referred to as "channel drainage" or "sand slit drainage," Sand Channel drainage is an enhancement of the Cambridge drainage concept. New installation procedures and the use of proprietary materials greatly improve system performance. Patented machines precisely control the installation process - cutting and filling channels in a continuous operation. These improvements yield performance, durability and longevity far superior to most other drainage options.
